concentrics restaurants announced Monday it will make a major entry into the Chicago hospitality scene. The Atlanta-based restaurant group has forged a deal to launch three new restaurant concepts in Chicago's The Wit Hotel. Concentrics will also run the Replacing Richard Blais of “Top Chef” fame, chef Wesley True takes over as executive chef at The Spence, as of today, according to concentrics restaurants. As chef/owner of TRUE in Mobile, AL, Wesley was a semi-finalist for the James Beard Award The Spence's website describes the restaurant, owned by concentrics restaurants, as a "classic eatery that serves accessible, ingredient driven food to its surrounding community and beyond." The menu is said to change daily, but a sample menu on the Concentrics Restaurants Group, known for popular Atlanta concepts such as One.Midtown Kitchen and Two Urban Licks, has announced their partnership with Flip Burger Boutique. Best known for their affiliation with Top Chef All-Stars winner Richard Blais Come Celebrate Concentrics Restaurant week, August 22- 28, 2009.
