With the arrival of Swine Southern Table & Bar, Pao Town, and the soon-to-open SushiSamba, the Coral Gables restaurant scene is rapidly expanding. Which is awesome, 'cause you can never have too many options when it comes to lunch, dinner, or happy hour in A popular Palm Beach restaurant, BrickTop’s, and its landlord have landed in hot water with the town’s code enforcement after trying to avoid a parking requirement. Town codes require the restaurant, located at 375 South County Road, to provide 22 off On the heels of the recent debut of Del Frisco’s, an upscale-casual American food eatery in Royal Poinciana Plaza, comes news that another eatery mining much the same territory, Bricktop's, is planning to open later this year in the old Amici’s spot on Food writer Colman Andrews has just released a memoir told through stories about the restaurants he was frequenting at different stages of his early life. Titled "My Usual Table," it got me thinking about the places I hang out in a lot and return to over Nashville-based restaurant BrickTop’s is expanding into St. Louis. Affiliate publication St. Louis Business Journal reports that BrickTop’s will open this fall at Plaza Frontenac, a mall owned by Davis Street Land Co. (which also owns The Mall at Green If, you know, I could also visit a new restaurant that I needed to try anyway, that would be ideal. Which is how I ended up at BrickTop's (1701 South Lindbergh Boulevard, Frontenac; 314-567-3600), the two-month-old restaurant at Plaza Frontenac .

Coral Gables will soon be welcoming a new eatery to its quickly growing restaurant scene called Bricktop's. The "small chain" with a few other locations throughout the states plans to open its seventh outpost at 2418 Ponce de Leon in the next couple of months. My idea of a culinary adventure is seeking out a family-run restaurant featuring genuine ethnic fare. Thus the prospect of dining at a chain restaurant on the parking lot of an upscale shopping center didn’t exactly get my heart racing. Shame on me. Current participating restaurants include: 1 Kept, 10 Degrees South, Aria, Atlanta Fish Market, Bantam + Biddy, The Big Ketch, Bistro Niko, Bricktop’s, Buckhead Diner, Buckhead Tavern, The Capital Grille, Cook Hall, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse Next time Jerry Seinfeld comes to town, his hosts should take him to BrickTop's. Seinfeld's long-running eponymous TV show was famously cited for being about nothing. That wasn't meant to be a negative; in fact, it was the primary attraction for legions of .
